Calvary Cares Highlights

“Nothing is for free”  is what we heard a  lot of on Saturday.  Or “what’s the catch?”  But there was no catch at all just hundreds of people who’ve received the love of Jesus sharing that love with thousands of others.  What an awesome day for the kingdom and for Calvary Christian Center.  The one word I keep hearing over and over again in the feedback reports is “overwhelmed.”  People who were cared for were completely overwhelmed that a someone would take the time to care for them asking nothing in return.  Thank you Calvary family for taking the time to care.  Here are a few testimonies:

People gave their lives to Christ as teams went door to door in Carolina Village and Daytona Garden apartments

Team prayed for a lady in labor at the Race Trac gas pump

At the laundry mat one man said we were the first true believers he had met in a long  time.  One lady so ovewhelmed that she cried.

At Kmart they spoke with a gentleman who hadn’t been to service in a while and said that to due to his circumstances he was having a pity party but now he’s ready to come back.

In Save a Lot teams prayed for people as they paid for their food.  One woman said, “Ain’t nobody ever done nothing for me.”

Teams prayed for people as they washed their cars for free

The team that went to Halifax prayed with a young woman on the hospital steps who had just lost her father.

People were overjoyed as children and teams went through nursing homes loving on the residents.
