Can you remember a time when everything was going crazy in your life and someone took the time to send a card, give you a call, or show up at your door just when you needed it most? It’s the people who care that make all the difference in our lives. When my dad just went through his recent open heart surgery, there were so many special people who just took a little time to make a huge difference and encourage us. I was thinking how they were like guardian angels, but then I realized they were even more important than that. What’s more special than a guardian angel? An avaerage, ordinary person with a hectic schedule and busy life who puts that all aside for one moment to reach out to another person. There are people you pass by everyday who need an ordinary person like you and me to do just that. This month, take time to reach out to a friend, a neighbor or a complete stranger to show them that Calvary and you care. Then join the Calvary family on November 3rd as we we spread kindness all over our city. A little kindness goes a long way.
